Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic - and Ilkay Silk - a talented actress as well as a writer, director, and producer. Her father comes from Britain, while her mother is an "Turkish ex-pat from Cyprus who is now living in England." Anna's first memories of attending rehearsals for play and observing her mother at work. Anna was featured in a variety of advertisements in her youth.
