Amy Smart, an American model, actress and actor. Growing up and being raised in California USA she started her modeling professional career in Italy. She made her acting debut in the year 1996 with her debut in the TV movie Her Costly Affair. It was a long road for her to star in Starship Troopers in a smaller character. At first, it was hard for Amy switching from modeling to acting. The reason is that most models aren't great actors. In the majority of cases, they're given insignificant and small roles. However, Amy did not give up and transitioned to larger roles, beginning with the TV series The 70s and the film Varsity Blues. In 2005, Amy took as the lead in The romantic comedic film Just Friends with Ryan Reynolds. Amy was recognized after more than ten years of working. Then she went on to work in several of the most famous films including the Crank series with Jason Statham as well as Shameless in which she played an enduring character.
