Amy Smart, an American model and actress from the United States. Amy Smart, who was born and raised in California USA began her modelling in Italy. Her Costly Affair, a 1996 TV film that she played her first part in, was her debut part. The struggle she had to get an appearance for Starship Troopers, a film with mainly minor roles was very intense. Amy was unable to make the leap from modeling into acting since models are not usually considered an actor of high quality. They're often given small roles that aren't important. However, Amy was determined to keep going and stepped into larger roles, beginning with the TV series The 70s and the film Varsity Blues. Amy then moved into leading roles in the romantic comedy Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. Amy found her recognition after more than ten years struggling. She then went on to work in several of the most famous film productions, such as the Crank series starring Jason Statham as well as Shameless, where she played a recognizable character.
